Basic Rights Oregon

Basic Rights Oregon is a political advocacy and education organization dedicated to advancing equality and civil rights for LGBTQ2SIA individuals throughout Oregon. Operating from Portland, OR, the organization combines strategic political engagement with community education to drive meaningful policy change. Basic Rights Oregon operates on two complementary platforms: the Basic Rights PAC, which champions LGBTQ-affirming candidates and campaigns at all levels of government, and the Basic Rights Education Fund (BREF), a 501(c)(3) organization focused on building grassroots power and shifting public opinion.
