BU Society for Queers & Allies in Dentistry

The Society for Queers & Allies in Dentistry (SQuAD) is a dedicated student organization at Boston University's Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, serving the Boston, MA dental education community. SQuAD is committed to building an inclusive and welcoming environment for LGBTQIA+ identified dental students, residents, and their allies throughout the dental school. The organization focuses on three core areas of impact: promoting awareness and visibility of the LGBTQIA+ community within the dental school through targeted programming and events, providing community outreach initiatives that extend beyond campus, and advocating for meaningful change in dental education and practice. The organization operates under faculty guidance and coordinates with other student organizations and dental school departments to maximize its reach and effectiveness.
