COLORS+ Youth Center

COLORS+ Youth Center is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive support services for LGBTQ+ youth and their families in the Fairview Park, OH area and throughout Northeast Ohio. Operating from a welcoming 3,000 square foot facility, COLORS+ offers a full spectrum of free, judgment-free programming designed to strengthen individual and community wellness through a holistic mind and body approach. The organization provides peer support groups, mental health resources, youth activities, and family services tailored to meet the unique needs of LGBTQ+ individuals. COLORS+ programming includes Youth Mental Health First Aid training, Substance Use Disorder prevention initiatives, Autism Spectrum Sensory Workshops, and specialized parent-caregiver support groups available on Cleveland's East and West sides. The center features dedicated spaces for creative expression, including a music room, art studio, inclusive queer youth library, and recreational areas designed to foster connection and belonging. Founded in 2018 by two licensed professional mental health counselors who identified a critical gap in affirming services for LGBTQ+ youth, COLORS+ has grown to directly support over 400 LGBTQ+ individuals annually while reaching thousands more through community trainings, workshops, and resource fairs. All programs are completely free, ensuring accessibility regardless of financial circumstances. Whether youth prefer in-person participation at the Fairview Park center or virtual engagement, COLORS+ welcomes individuals from across the state to access their comprehensive array of advocacy, support, education, and celebration-focused services.
