As a multi-faceted organization, Diversity Richmond provides extensive cultural and social programming designed to affirm and celebrate the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities. The organization produces dozens of events annually, including the Commonwealth's largest LGBTQ festival, which attracts over 50,000 attendees and stands as a cornerstone celebration for the region. Beyond event programming, Diversity Richmond offers flexible venue rental services equipped with modern AV technology and kitchen access, making their Richmond-based facility ideal for private events, corporate meetings, receptions, and seminars. The organization also maintains an extensive community directory connecting LGBTQ+ individuals and families to specialized support services, helping professionals, and regional resources. Additionally, Diversity Richmond operates community fundraising initiatives including Diversity Thrift and Diversity Bingo!, generating sustainable revenue while fostering community connection.
