Henderson Equality Center

Henderson Equality Center is a comprehensive community resource organization serving Henderson, NV and Southern Nevada with a full spectrum of programs designed to support LGBTQ+ individuals and allies. The center provides educational courses, skill-building workshops, and job assistance programs specifically tailored for at-risk and low-income LGBTQ youth and adults. Services include social support groups organized by demographic and interest, with dedicated programs for youth, gender diversity, seniors, and adult communities. The organization maintains a food pantry open Tuesday through Friday from 12pm to 6pm, offering essential resources to those in need. Henderson Equality Center operates multiple youth groups and gender-affirming programs, including bi-weekly youth gatherings that provide safe spaces for connection and mentorship, along with weekly tutoring programs for youth 18 and under. The center also facilitates Gender Diversity groups and workshops for trans-identified and questioning individuals across all age groups. Adult programming includes groups focused on transgender, bisexual, and people of color communities, plus specialized support networks such as Equality in Recovery. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Henderson Equality Center is committed to promoting visibility, understanding, and equality through education, social support, networking, and advocacy initiatives throughout Henderson, NV and the broader Southern Nevada region.
