Lambert House is a comprehensive community center dedicated to empowering LGBTQ youth through year-round programs, services, and social activities in Seattle, WA. Since its founding in 1981, Lambert House has provided essential support to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth ages 10-22, offering over 30 different annual and ongoing programs designed to build leadership, social, and life skills. The organization operates a welcoming drop-in center in Capitol Hill featuring recreational amenities including pool tables, a music station, an extensive LGBTQ library, computer lab, and comfortable social spaces where youth can connect with peers and trusted adult mentors. Lambert House delivers a diverse array of services including support groups, skill-building workshops, social activities, dinners, dances, and planning meetings that create safe spaces for self-discovery and community building. With nearly 100 trained adult volunteers serving as role models and mentors, Lambert House provides individualized guidance and support tailored to the unique needs of LGBTQ youth.
