OutFront Minnesota

OutFront Minnesota is Minnesota's largest LGBTQ+ advocacy organization, serving the St. Paul community and beyond through comprehensive support services and systemic change initiatives. Founded in 1987, the organization leads Minnesota toward LGBTQ+ equality through a multifaceted approach combining legislative advocacy, legal support, community organizing, education, and direct services. The Anti-Violence Program provides crisis intervention services, confidential crisis counseling, and advocacy support for LGBTQ+ victims and survivors of violence, harassment, relationship abuse, and sexual assault. OutFront Minnesota's Educational Equity initiative works with hundreds of students and teachers to create welcoming and affirming school environments across the state. The Policy & Organizing team engages communities throughout Minnesota to advance protective legislation and systemic change. Additionally, the organization offers specialized support for individuals relocating to Minnesota due to anti-trans legislation or politically hostile home states, connecting them with resources including gender-affirming care and community integration assistance. OutFront Minnesota maintains accessible helplines and multiple contact channels to serve those in crisis or seeking guidance. The organization's intersectional approach recognizes that LGBTQ+ equity work is deeply connected to racial justice, disability justice, immigrant rights, Indigenous rights, and other civil and social justice movements. Through collaborative partnerships and community-centered strategies, OutFront Minnesota addresses inequities at every level while building power within Minnesota's 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.
