OUTMemphis is the largest and longest-running LGBTQ nonprofit organization serving the Memphis, Tennessee community and the broader Mid-South region since 1989. Operating multiple facilities across Memphis, OUTMemphis provides comprehensive services designed to empower, connect, educate, and advocate for LGBTQ individuals of all ages. The organization offers a diverse range of programs including HIV and Hepatitis C testing conducted weekly at their Community Center, youth-focused services through their Youth Empowerment Center, and specialized support for transgender and non-binary individuals. OUTMemphis delivers direct services across housing, social services, food and hygiene assistance, community health initiatives, and advocacy and education programming. The organization manages an extensive volunteer program with approximately 800 participants and maintains multiple service locations throughout Memphis to ensure accessibility. With a dedicated team of 23 staff members, OUTMemphis continues to expand its capacity to meet the evolving needs of the LGBTQ community it serves.
