PFLAG Dallas

PFLAG Dallas provides comprehensive support and advocacy services for LGBTQ+ individuals, their families, and allies throughout the Dallas, TX community. Since its founding in 1992, the organization has established itself as a vital resource offering multiple pathways for connection and growth. The chapter conducts monthly support meetings available in both in-person and virtual formats via Zoom, creating accessible opportunities for participants regardless of their circumstances. PFLAG Dallas delivers educational programming on sexual orientation, gender identity, and LGBTQ+ issues designed to help families and friends navigate their journeys with understanding and compassion. The organization operates helpline services and provides locally and nationally produced resources to support those seeking information and guidance. Additionally, PFLAG Dallas administers the Jim Howe Memorial Scholarship, awarding up to $1,000 annually to high school graduating seniors in North Texas who identify as LGBTQIA+ and are pursuing higher education or vocational training.
