PFLAG Dayton

PFLAG Dayton is a comprehensive support and advocacy organization serving LGBTQ+ individuals, families, and allies throughout the Dayton, OH community. The organization operates through three core service pillars designed to create meaningful change and foster inclusive environments. Through its Support program, PFLAG Dayton organizes and facilitates multiple peer support and community building opportunities each month, complemented by attendance and sponsorship of signature community events including Q Prom, Community Game Night, and Pride celebrations. The Education program features monthly community support meetings with guest speakers who share expertise and lived experiences within the LGBTQIA community, alongside a comprehensive resource network spanning local, regional, state, and national organizations. PFLAG Dayton also hosts in-depth educational programs throughout the year to deepen community understanding. The Advocacy program partners strategically with local and national organizations to educate decision-makers about issues affecting LGBTQ+ families and communities, while empowering individuals to amplify their voices toward systemic change. By meeting people where they are and collaborating with community partners, PFLAG Dayton works toward full equality for all people regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. The organization operates from a vision where diversity is celebrated and all individuals are respected, valued, and affirmed within their communities.
