PFLAG Gillette

PFLAG Gillette is the local chapter of PFLAG National, serving the Gillette, Wyoming community as a comprehensive support and advocacy organization for LGBTQ+ individuals, their families, and allies. The organization provides a range of essential services designed to foster acceptance, education, and community connection in northeastern Wyoming.

Key services offered by PFLAG Gillette include monthly support groups conducted in safe, confidential spaces where families and individuals can share experiences and find understanding. The chapter organizes regular social gatherings that build community bonds, including movie screenings, game nights, potlucks, holiday celebrations, and craft nights. Beyond social connection, PFLAG Gillette maintains a valuable directory of LGBTQ-friendly healthcare providers, businesses, and churches throughout the region, helping community members access affirming services.

The organization also demonstrates its commitment to the next generation through scholarship opportunities for students involved in Gender-Sexuality Alliances (GSAs) who exemplify compassion, leadership, and dedication to social justice. With nearly 400 chapters nationwide and 250,000 members and supporters, PFLAG operates as the first and largest organization dedicated to supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer individuals alongside their families and allies.
