PFLAG New Orleans has established itself as a trusted educational resource, offering LGBT sensitivity training to major institutions including the New Orleans Police Department, area schools, churches, hospitals, and corporations such as Shell and the Red Cross. The organization maintains an active voice through its weekly radio program on 102.3 FM WHIV, available worldwide via internet radio and podcasts, ensuring consistent community engagement and education. PFLAG New Orleans actively advocates at federal, state, and local levels, having successfully championed the New Orleans LGBT Civil Rights Ordinance, Safe-Schools Initiative, and broader employment protections.
