PFLAG Rockland

PFLAG Rockland provides comprehensive support and advocacy services for families, allies, and friends of the LGBTQ+ community in Palisades, NY and the surrounding Rockland region. Operating as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, PFLAG Rockland delivers peer-to-peer support through regularly scheduled support groups that meet the first and third Wednesday of each month, offering a safe space for families to connect, share experiences, and strengthen their relationships with LGBTQ+ loved ones.

The organization's service model encompasses three core pillars: support, education, and advocacy. Through their support groups, PFLAG Rockland creates welcoming environments where families and allies can process their journeys and build community. Their educational initiatives equip members and the broader Palisades community with knowledge about LGBTQ+ issues, helping transform attitudes and understanding.
