PFLAG Sarasota

PFLAG Sarasota is the local chapter of the nation's largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ people and those who love them. Serving the Sarasota and Manatee counties community, PFLAG Sarasota provides comprehensive resources, education, and support designed to create a caring, just, and affirming environment for parents, families, friends, and allies of the LGBTQ+ community. The organization operates with a mission grounded in three core pillars: support, education, and advocacy. Through these services, PFLAG Sarasota works to advance equality and foster a culture of acceptance and inclusion where all people are valued for their authentic selves, including their sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. The chapter hosts regular monthly meetings held on the last Monday of each month, providing opportunities for community members to connect, share experiences, and access peer support. Led by dedicated leadership committed to the principle of leading with love, PFLAG Sarasota demonstrates compassion and advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community and those who care about them.
