PFLAG Tampa

PFLAG Tampa is a dedicated support organization serving the Tampa Bay community as part of the nation's largest and oldest LGBTQ+ ally network. With over 50 years of experience since 1972, PFLAG Tampa provides essential resources and community connection for LGBTQ+ individuals, their families, friends, and allies throughout the Tampa, FL area. The organization hosts regular support meetings held on the first Monday of each month from 5:30-7:30pm, creating a welcoming space where members can share experiences, build relationships, and find strength in community. These free meetings welcome all individuals regardless of background or experience level. Beyond direct support services, PFLAG Tampa actively engages in community advocacy and cultural initiatives, including their Pride Mural Installation campaign and efforts to celebrate iconic local LGBTQIA+ figures and landmarks. The organization operates as a nonpartisan, nonsectarian nonprofit, ensuring an inclusive environment for all participants. As part of a national network with over 200,000 members and 400 chapters across all 50 states, PFLAG Tampa connects local members to broader resources and support systems.
