Rockland County Pride Center

Rockland County Pride Center is a comprehensive LGBTQ+ community organization based in Nyack, NY, dedicated to improving the lives of LGBTQ people through a wide range of specialized services and programs. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a justice-focused mission, the Pride Center offers free and low-cost community events, monthly support groups for adults, and comprehensive referral services for medical care, mental health, housing, legal, and social services. The organization provides individual advocacy and navigation support to help community members access critical resources across the Hudson Valley and Northern New Jersey region.

The Pride Center operates a robust LGBTQ Youth Program serving middle and high school students with twice-weekly afterschool programming that includes dinner, mental health resources, tutoring, and bilingual support in English and Spanish. Additionally, the organization provides family support services, senior drop-in spaces, and partners with Montefiore Nyack Hospital to deliver LGBTQ-affirming healthcare through the Jacobs Family Pride Wellness Center. The Pride Center's advocacy work addresses discrimination, closes service gaps, and drives systemic change while providing survival services to ensure all community members have their basic needs met. With bilingual services available and a commitment to anti-racist, social justice principles, Rockland County Pride Center remains the only organization in the county whose sole mission is advancing the wellbeing of LGBTQ individuals across all ages.
