Stand with Trans provides comprehensive mental health therapy services and community support programs to transgender youth, adults, and their families throughout the Farmington, MI area and beyond. Our licensed therapists specialize in affirming, accessible, and compassionate care for trans individuals while welcoming anyone seeking a safe and understanding mental health space. We now accept insurance to make therapy more affordable and accessible to those who need it most, whether you're exploring your identity, navigating life's challenges, or simply seeking professional support. Beyond individual therapy, Stand with Trans offers structured community groups tailored to different age ranges—from tweens and teens to young adults and adult caregivers of transgender or non-binary individuals. Our programs include the Queer Youth Nutrition initiative for young LGBT-identifying people ages 13-24 in the Detroit area, specialized support groups for ally parents across the United States, and annual community events like Trans Empowerment Month and summer gatherings. Founded in 2015 by a passionate advocate, Stand with Trans has grown to serve an international population of families while maintaining deep roots in the Farmington, Michigan community. We are committed to helping trans youth build resilience, gain confidence, and discover hope for a future filled with joy.
