Stonewall Legal Alliance

Stonewall Legal Alliance is a student organization at Florida International University's College of Law in Miami, FL, dedicated to fostering legal excellence and community engagement. As part of FIU Law—Miami's public law school and one of Florida's top three institutions—the organization connects law students with meaningful opportunities to develop their professional skills while serving the local community.

FIU Law offers comprehensive degree and professional programs including the Juris Doctor (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), Master of Jurisprudence (MJ) with specialized concentrations, and Certificate programs in Military Law. The institution also provides Paralegal Studies and graduate certificates for law-adjacent professionals seeking specialized legal training. Students benefit from a personalized curriculum delivered by accomplished faculty members—58 full-time and adjunct instructors with exceptional credentials and extensive publications in leading national and international law reviews.

Located on FIU's Modesto A. Maidique Campus, the College of Law occupies the 153,000 square-foot Rafael Diaz-Balart Hall, featuring state-of-the-art teaching courtrooms, seminar rooms, and a comprehensive three-story, 50,000 square-foot Law Library. The Miami location provides students with access to Florida's largest legal market, offering prime opportunities for hands-on experience with world-class faculty and diverse practice settings ranging from low bono work to major international corporations.
