The LOFT LGBTQ Community Center in White Plains, NY offers a comprehensive range of programs and services designed to support, educate, and celebrate the LGBTQ community and allies. Operating nearly every day, The LOFT provides peer support groups addressing diverse needs including mental health, grief and loss, substance abuse recovery, and identity-specific communities such as LGBTQ people of color, neurodiverse individuals, and young adults. The center's social and community activities include art therapy workshops, book clubs, fiber craft circles, and outdoor activities like OUTWalking and Queer Climb, fostering meaningful connections and personal growth. Educational offerings through LOFT Learning and professional development programs equip community members with job search support, financial literacy, and career advancement opportunities. Health and wellness services include free HIV/STI testing, tobacco cessation programs, medical financial aid through TransMission, and case management.
