Youth Pride, Inc. is Rhode Island's dedicated nonprofit organization providing comprehensive services and support specifically designed for LGBTQIA+ youth and young adults ages 24 and under. Operating since 1992, Youth Pride serves the Providence, RI community as the only nonprofit in the state exclusively focused on meeting the unique needs of LGBTQ youth impacted by sexual orientation and gender identity expression. Youth Pride offers direct counseling services through licensed clinicians available by appointment, along with critical support resources including basic needs assistance, pantry services, and clothing closet access. Beyond individual counseling, the organization facilitates multiple support groups and social programs connecting youth with shared interests and identities, including Gender Spectrum, Queer Gourmet, Dungeons & Dragons, and Little Unicorns Pride Side. The drop-in center operates Monday through Friday with age-specific hours designed to serve different developmental stages, from ages 10 through 25. Youth Pride also provides professional development training and educational workshops on LGBTQIA+ topics for schools, organizations, and adult learners.
